Cold Bay offers one of Alaska’s most diverse waterfowl adventures. The wetlands, coastal waters, and surrounding wilderness of Izembek National Wildlife Refuge support tremendous numbers of Pacific black brant, geese, puddle ducks, divers, and sea ducks. Four Flyways Outfitters has operated in Cold Bay since 2006 and brings the experience, specialized equipment, and local knowledge required to hunt this remote environment safely and successfully. Hunters can choose an early-season Cast & Blast combining waterfowl hunting with silver salmon, halibut, and cod fishing or a late-season hunt focused on sea ducks, brant, and other available waterfowl. Every trip is customized around the group’s goals, weather conditions, and seasonal opportunities.

Jeff Wasley has lived and worked in Alaska since 2000 and has guided waterfowl hunters since 2002.

As a wildlife biologist, Jeff Wasley brings more than 25 years of experience researching waterfowl and guiding waterfowl hunters in Alaska. His knowledge of sea ducks, their behavior, and Alaska’s challenging coastal environment is at the heart of every hunt.

Jeff has operated in Cold Bay since 2006, giving him extensive knowledge of Izembek Lagoon and the surrounding wilderness. Depending on the season and conditions, hunters may pursue Pacific black brant, sea ducks, puddle ducks, geese, and ptarmigan—with silver salmon, halibut, and cod fishing adding another dimension to the early-season Cast & Blast experience.

Jeff’s goal is simple: provide every group with a safe, ethical, and professionally guided Alaskan adventure built around the opportunities Cold Bay offers each day.
