When most waterfowl hunters think about the top destinations in North America, the great state of Florida may not immediately come to mind. Think again!

Picture yourself cruising across more than 5,000 acres of private Florida marsh aboard an airboat in pursuit of the Mottled Duck—often called the Florida Duck—the Black-bellied Whistling-Duck, and the elusive Fulvous Whistling-Duck. This is the only place in the world where hunters have the opportunity to pursue all three species.

In addition to “The Florida Big 3,” hunters may encounter fully plumaged late-season Ring-necked Ducks, Blue-winged Teal, and other species while working toward Florida’s six-duck daily limit.

Special Note: Hunters can reasonably expect opportunities for Mottled Ducks and Black-bellied Whistling-Ducks. Although this is one of the country’s best destinations for pursuing the Fulvous Whistling-Duck, an opportunity cannot be guaranteed. That challenge is part of what makes the hunt so exciting.
