Hunting Mexico’s coastal marshes in January and February on one of the best Mexico guided duck hunts in the business sounds like a waterfowlers dream. But the 75 degree temps and sunny skies are just the beginning on this World Class waterfowling adventure!
With the VERY liberal daily bag limit of 30 ducks per hunter and 50 doves, this is sure to be a hunt to remember. Most every bird harvested on this trip will be in full plumage and the drakes are absolutely gorgeous this time of year! This is a 3 day / 4 night “All Inclusive” hunt for groups of 4 – 10 hunters with an ideal group size of 6. And your group WILL BE the only group in camp that week.
Upon arrival your group will be promptly picked up by the resort staff and brought directly to the private coastal marsh resort. After check in at the resort each hunter will pick out their personal firearm for the trip. With a wide variety of 12 ga. and 20 ga. Berettas and Benellis available, there is no need to bring your firearm with to Mexico.
Each morning will start with a 10-30 minute ride to a permanent blind set up on the massive, private coastal marsh and the hunters will be broken down into groups of 2. The morning’s fast action duck hunt will provide ample opportunity at over 14 different species of waterfowl including: big drake Pintails, Cinnamon teal, Blue wing teal, Green wing teal, Black Bellied Whistling Ducks, Ruddy ducks and more…
After a home cooked Mexican lunch at the resort your group will be escorted out to a local cactus field for a truly World Class caliber afternoon dove hunt where each hunter should have ample opportunity to harvest their 60 bird limit… if you can hit them!
This a fantastic wing shooting adventure, located just south of the border. If you’re looking for the best Mexico guided duck hunts, book this trip today!

From the moment we landed in Mexico, picked up by our guide and headed across the Mexican landscape, I had a feeling I was in for something special. Arriving at the hunting compound, the smell of marsh lands and birds in the air increased the anxiety to get out and hunt.
The following morning brought the sound of air boats firing up in the dark while we had a great breakfast. Climbing into an air boat and taking off into the dark thru cut out paths in the marsh was totally exilerating. Watching the sunrise in this magical place was just as
good as the hunting. With multiple species taking each day and liberal limits, this hunt is definitely for the waterfowl hunter.
After a great morning hunt, you get a little rest time , a great lunch and then off to sharpen your shooting skills on doves and wild pigeons. As if the day couldn’t get better, it seems they have an endless supply of doves and pigeons. Ending each day with an incredible dinner where the stories of the day are shared between hunters was as relaxing as it gets.
With great hunting and accomodations, UWC hunt #4 is a world class adventure. The guide service covers all aspects of what makes a great hunt. And with this hunt, I was able to complete the few birds I needed to get my master certified waterfowl hunter recognition. Thanks UWC!!!

Last year one of the items on my “Bucket List” was to hunt ducks and doves in Mexico. UWFC came up with the Great 8 and destination #4 was going to fill this “Bucket List” adventure. I was already a member of the Ultimate Waterfowl Challenge and this was a great opportunity to check off some additional Waterfowl species that are hard to come by in California.
This was a chance to hunt Ducks in the morning and be humbled by wing shooting for doves and pigeons in the afternoon. Destination #4 was a great chance to add 5
new species, including the Fulvous Tree Duck and the Black Bellied Whistling Duck on my way to the Master Elite of 30 different species. I’m booked for Destination #1 with UWC Adventures in December to narrow the list by targeting Brant and Scoters.
Overall, if you’re looking for a little extra fun to your hunting season I highly recommend joining UWFC and use the UWFC Adventures Great 8.
If you are a hard core waterfowl hunter, this is an excellent way to find different locations, and species. UWFC Adventures have already researched these outfitters and listed the species that you can target on your way to the becoming the CERTIFIED GRAND MASTER WATERFOWL HUNTER

Dear UWC Adventures,
Destination 4- Mexico Wintering Puddlers, was one of the best hunts we have ever been on in our lives. The guides and staff were great. Unbelievable amount of birds. We shot 9 different species each on this hunt. It was a hunt that we will never forget and are planning to go back. We would recommend this hunt to anyone!
