If you are an avid waterfowl hunter and looking for a rewarding hunting experience, then this is the perfect hunt for you. UWC Adventures Consultant Jim Riley has been arranging hunts with our new UWC-Adventures partner for over twenty-five years, and the outfitter who lives in the area year-round has a good understanding of the local waterfowl movement.

During the hunt, you will get the opportunity to experience outstanding gunning for fully plummed sea duck species. The most common species available are harlequins, Barrow's goldeneyes, surf scoters, common scoters, white-winged scoters, old squaws, buffleheads, and mergansers. Most hunters are trophy hunters and will get multiple chances each day at quality birds.

The techniques used are to hunt from rocky shores with decoys, skiffs with strings of decoys, or pass shooting in some areas. The outfitter will equip you with all the necessary gear and provide a safety orientation before the hunt.

After a successful day of hunting, you will return to a comfortable small lodge where you will be served excellent meals. The lodge has all the amenities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. You can relax, unwind, and share stories with fellow hunters.
